Managing complex behaviours and needs - supporting young people in care

A four-hour in-person training session for CF&KC-SA Carer Members supporting young people in care who have experienced trauma. Clinical Psychologist Colby Pearce will explore what may be happening beneath challenging behaviours and introduce the AURA approach: being accessible, understanding, proactively responsive and attuned. The session is designed for carers seeking alternatives when conventional behaviour management approaches do not support children’s needs. Attendance is free for members, with places strictly limited.
