Takashi Wakasugi presents Wabi-Sabi Comedy, a new show by the award-winning Japanese comedian known as your favourite “Waka”. Drawing on wabi-sabi (侘び寂び), a Japanese aesthetic that finds beauty in imperfection, the show may suit audiences interested in Japanese comedy and the idea of finding beauty in the imperfect. Wakasugi won the Director’s Choice Award in 2023 and was nominated for Most Outstanding Show in 2024 at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
