WHS Crystalline Silica Substance Training

This three-hour in-person training provides practical guidance on employers’ legal responsibilities for respirable crystalline silica. Delivered by WHS specialist Jack Crawford of the MAQOHSC team, it covers health risks, workplace exposure standards, silica-containing materials, risk assessments and control plans, air and health monitoring, respiratory protective equipment, and cleaning methods. It is intended for industries exposed to silica, including construction, mining and quarrying.
