Adelaide Parklands

Adelaide Park Lands is a huge green setting around Adelaide CBD, covering 7.6 million square metres across 29 parks and six city squares. Together, they form the distinctive landscape of Adelaide: a planned city set within a park. The Adelaide Park Lands and City Layout is listed on the National Heritage List, giving the area significance beyond its everyday use as open space.

Each section has a different character. Riverbank Park Lands combine culture, sport, plants and wildlife, while the North Park Lands are described as a landscape of contrasts.
