Point Malcolm Reserve

Point Malcolm Reserve sits on Military Road at Semaphore Park, on Adelaide's north-western coast. A lovely foreshore reserve, it's best known as the home of the Point Malcolm Lighthouse — said to be the smallest lighthouse in the Southern Hemisphere — set among coastal parkland with lovely views over the gulf and the nearby river mouth.

The appeal is that combination of a charming historic lighthouse, relaxed coastal parkland and lovely water views, making it a pleasant spot for a stroll, a picnic or simply taking in the scenery. It's a peaceful, scenic part of the Semaphore coast, with the beach, the river and the foreshore paths all close by.
