Soutar Park

Soutar Park is a family-friendly outdoor space in Goodwood, within the City of Unley, with plenty of facilities for play, exercise and relaxed gatherings. Its features include a playground, fenced areas, shaded spaces, open grass and a community orchard, making it suitable for families and visitors looking for room to move.

The park supports a range of activities, with fitness equipment, a basketball half court and a soccer field available on site. For more leisurely visits, there are BBQ facilities, picnic tables and seating, a drinking fountain and public toilets. The combination of active and low-key spaces makes it useful for a family outing, casual picnic or group recreation.

Soutar Park is also available for some organised activities and events. The City of Unley advises visitors to check the facility calendar and apply for the relevant permit where required, including for regular sports training, commercial fitness activities, sporting events and larger gatherings. Dogs can be off leash between 5pm and 10am in the open play area and south of the east-west path. Located on Albert Street, it offers a practical local option for outdoor recreation in Adelaide’s inner south.
